New year, new pupils

January 2020 saw our new intake of 80 new pupils at KMA! Our KMA Course has commenced its virgin voyage this year with 40 Grade 2 pupils on violin and recorder. Our 1-11 research programme will follow their journey at KMA from Grade 2 to Matric, documenting their progress and measuring the impact music has on their psychological, emotional well-being and on their physical and cognitive development. This is part of our brand new “Brains Trust” department, tasked with Impact Measurement and M&E. Orientation Day 2020 was a joyful experience as pupils found their feet and were paired with their first instrument love! What a journey of healing and fun they have ahead of them…
