Our pupils are struggling in their communities to find outlets for their frustrations and someone to talk to about their worries. Parents are finding things increasingly difficult to monitor as they gradually start returning to their place of work, so urgently necessary at this time. To try to help, in June 2020 KMA has appointed 6 mentors from our “senior” pupils, to check on pupils’ well-being. Have a look at Luzo explaining what he does in our recent gallery videos. This has proved to be exceptionally successful as mentors have developed meaningful role model relationships with the younger pupils and parents have embraced knowing that there is another person who can be there for their child. Congratulations to all the mentors for a job well done!
